Inside the EME srl Srl group, Medical Italia is the leading department for the production of devices and services in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation with more than 25 years of experience.

Medical Italia was created in 1983 by professionals in this sector who put together their
experience to launch a range of products which could be the result of a great experience in the field of designing, producing and selling safe and reliable devices made in Italy.

Research and Development

A specific team of the Research and Development area works for improving the devices by cooperating constantly with the General Management and those responsible for the production thereby finding solutions which meet the needs of the market and which allow the company to continue being the leader for the production of rehabilitation products.

Bottom-up: from the actual needs of the professionals to the best equipments

To achieve this aim the company’s guidelines follow the “bottom-up” principle, consisting in starting from the actual needs of the professionals in the sector putting them afterwards in the producing cycle. Therefore the main EME S.r.l.’s contacts are the final users because according to their needs the devices are continuously improved.

The final users can be constantly updated everywhere in the world and in every moment through a Smart Card or through a computer allowing the relation with the main company is ever active and allows monitoring both incoming and outgoing information.

Quality certifications and safety

EME S.r.l. obtained two Certifications including both the product and the process.

In the first case the equipment range has a CE Certification in compliance with the Directive 93/42/EEC, and its devices are marked CE by the Cermet 0476 notifying body. In the second paper the company is certified ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 13485-2004.
